CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
Introduction:
This chapter contains a discussion of each major article in the collective bargaining agreements. It is intended to facilitate the interpretation and administration of the negotiated agreements.
The primary discussion in each section will relate to the AFSCME agreement. Special notes specific to the SPOC and IUP agreements follow the AFSCME discussion. If there are no special notes, the section is to be interpreted as being applicable to all agreements.
This chapter is not intended to replace the actual contractual provisions but only to highlight administrative responsibilities and to assure consistency among supervisors and managers.
