new image New Employee Benefits Orientation

Two new benefits presentations are available for employees -- benefits orientation presentations for new employees. The new employee benefits orientation will consist of two presentations.

Health and Other insurance Benefits An overview of the health dental, flexible spending accounts, life and long term disability benefits available to employees.
Introduction to Retirement Investors' Club (RIC) A presentation illustrating the features and benefits of the State of Iowa Retirement Investors' Club (RIC) (deferred compensation program.)

These presentations use iLinc, a Web and audio conferencing service. Employees view a PowerPoint presentation, supporting documents and Web sites while listening to the presenter on the phone. Attendees ask questions and receive answers during the session. Participants only need access to the Internet and a telephone.

Participation is not limited to new employees. Any employee can attend a presentation. For example, the Introduction to RIC presentation is an excellent session for anyone not currently enrolled in deferred compensation.

Presentations are offered four times a month throughout the year. The presentation schedule and registration is found at the New Employee Benefits Orientation site.
