half-day awareness course is designed to help participants understand
and value cultural differences. The focus of this course is to foster
positive attitudes, behaviors, and practices that support a diverse
workplace. Topics include:
- the changing
labor force
- differences
between EEO/AA and diversity
- inclusions
versus exclusions
- advantages
and benefits to be gained by valuing diversity
- communication
and language barriers to diversity
