What does diversity mean to you? Are you ready for the
challenges diversity presents and does your organization possess
the tools needed to successfully navigate this territory?
The cornerstone of managing a diverse workplace is to move from
a model of tolerating differences to embracing
the differences and recognizing their value to the team. This workshop
will:
- Increase awareness of diversity
- Define discrimination and discuss EEOC guidelines
- Assess the environment for prejudicial behaviors and practices
- Learn the effects of diversity and harassment on employees
and customers
- Encourage multi-modal communication
- Explore the benefits and address the challenges of diversity
- Identify ways to celebrate diversity
